“Sex to change the course of the world”
A marine biologist’s online ad lures a journalism student to his subterranean lab under the pretence of an evening of “no strings” sex. But there’s nothing casual about this particular evening.
An epic, intimate comedy that spans billions of years, boom explores the influences of fate and randomness in the course of one’s life, and life on Earth as we know it.
“I wanted you to know that the actual noise was louder. And there was a lot of shaking of things. Some flames. Dust. Miscellany falling from elevated places. Chaos. Terror.
We have tried our best to reproduce that here. Alas, there’s only so much we can do. What with the limitations: Physical, cognitive, budgetary. I just wanted to underscore the… girth of the moment. Big Girth.”
