A sacrificial son. Sisters with a shocking secret. A man on Death Row. Testament invites you to bear witness to the dark underbelly of The Good Book. A theatrical film set in modern day America, Testament explores the compelling re-imagining of four oft-forgotten Bible characters against a haunting score of gospel and blues as we behold how their lives have unfolded in today’s society.

Winner of 5 BroadwayWorld Awards:

Best Streaming Play

Best New Streaming Play

Best Direction of a Streaming Play or Musical

Best Editing of a Streaming Play or Musical

“Simply impossible not to feel moved by this piece” –North West End UK

“An astonishingly raw and emotional piece of theatre” –Everything Theatre

“All of the stories are sharply observed and neatly written” – Stagedoor, Lyn Gardner

“Divine performances are assured in Testament” –BroadwayWorld

“The performances are exceptional, beautiful, and intense.” – The Front Row Center

TESTAMENT has so far screened as part of 59E59 East to Edinburgh Goes Virtual, Edinburgh Fringe Festival at Assembly, and Rochester Fringe Festival.… Read More
